Clearly Defined Steps for Doing Business with Us

There are many reasons for returns, and we completely understand this reality. Therefore, rather than keep our customers guessing in regards to processing returns, we’ve put together a return policy that is very clear and direct. Below you’ll find the information regarding our return policy and the process.

Return Policy

If you are not satisfied with your LohasFarms Product purchase, your item may be returned within 60 days from the shipping date.lohasfarms retains discretion regarding whether a returned item will be refunded or exchanged. In addition, all LohasFarms Product returns must include:

    • lohasfarms sticker on product with serial number
    • All original boxes and packing materials provided by manufacturer
    • Contain the original UPC codes if available
    • All manuals
    • All accessories
    • All manufacturer documentation

 

If any return shipment does not contain all of these items or if the item is damaged, your exchange or return request may be denied, or the customer will be subject to a repackaging fee up to the value of the item, and to be determined on a case by case basis.

Defective item

All defective LohasFarms Product can be returned within 60 days of ship date for an exchange or refund. For exchanges, your warranty period will start on the ship date of the exchange battery. Return shipping costs will be paid for by the customer. lohasfarms will cover the cost to ship the exchange product via Standard Shipping. Any requests for expedited shipping will be paid for by the customer. For refund requests, a refund for the full purchase price of the item will be issued if the product is returned in all original packaging. Original shipping charges will not be refunded. For orders that came with free shipping, a $6.95 shipping fee will be deducted from your total credit.

Non-defective item

All non-defective products can be returned within 60 days of ship date for a refund or exchange. Return shipping costs will be paid for by the customer. All returns of non-defective products are subject to a 15% processing fee. This amount will be deducted from your credit. Original shipping charges will not be refunded.

Damaged item

If your product arrives damaged, save everything that arrived and contact lohasfarms customer service department immediately to begin the process of an exchange.

Warranty replacements

After 60 days from the ship date of your order, your purchase falls under Warranty Replacement status. Following the 60 days, you are only eligible for a replacement of a defective item. Customers cannot exchange it for a different item, unless the item has been discontinued. Customers are responsible for all shipping charges back to lohasfarms , as well as, all return shipping charges back to the customer. The fee for return shipping charges will vary due to quantity and weight of items. The fee will be charged $8.00 for return shipping. The fee given is to be used as a general guideline only. The actual cost of the return shipping fee will be e-mailed to you along with your Return Merchandise Authorization number. We offer a 1-year or 2-year warranty on all of our batteries and chargers. This warranty does not cover batteries that have been subjected to “memory effect” (due to insufficient conditioning) overcharging or other abuse and misuse. All of our batteries and accessories can be returned to the address indicated inside the RMA email. We reserve the right to test any battery prior to issuing a new replacement or refund. During the testing phase, if the returned battery is deemed non-defective and is in working order, we reserve the right to return the “good battery” back to you. Shipping for returned “good batteries” are to be paid by the customer. Warranty is void if the warranty sticker has been removed or if any internal component has been altered or modified.

Limited Product Warranty

lohasfarms warrants that the battery or adapter that you have purchased will be free from defects in materials or workmanship under normal usage for the duration of the Limited Product Warranty period. Refunds or exchanges will be issued within 60 days from the date the product is shipped. For the warranty period of one (1) or two (2) years or 800 recharge cycles, lohasfarms will exchange or repair the product at no charge. The Limited Product Warranty starts on the date your product ships from our facility. You will be required to provide proof of purchase as a condition for receiving warranty service. Broken warranty seals will void all warranties where warranty can be applied.lohasfarms reserves the right to charge a fifteen percent (15%) processing fee.

lohasfarms offers limited warranty against abnormal breakdown on rechargeable batteries for a period from the delivery date. At lohasfarms ’s discretion, we will repair or replace the battery after thorough testing to determine whether the battery is, in fact, defective. Please be advised that since rechargeable batteries are consumable products, warranty coverage on rechargeable batteries is limited to not being able to hold charge (will not charge).

The Limited Product Warranty is a parts replacement only. Replacement products and parts are warranted to be free from defects in material or workmanship for 60 days or for the remainder of the Limited Product Warranty Period of the product in which they are replacing or in which they are installed, whichever is longer.

If lohasfarms receives, during the warranty period, notice of a defect that is covered by this Limited Product Warranty, lohasfarms will test and repair or replace the product, at the option of lohasfarms. This is your exclusive remedy for defective products. lohasfarms shall have no obligation to repair or replace until the defective product is returned and tested.

The maximum capacity of all rechargeable batteries fades with time depending on the applications and usage patterns. This is considered normal; therefore, a change in battery capacity is not covered under warranty. Your battery is only warranted from defects in materials or workmanship resulting in failures. Battery life is not warranted and will vary depending on product configuration and usage. These include, but not limited to, applications running, power management settings, certain Operating systems which have battery life deterioration issues such as Windows7 and product models and features.

Exclusions

The Limited Product Warranty does not apply to expendable parts and does not extend to any product from which the serial number and lohasfarms warranty sticker has been removed, damaged or rendered defective (a) as a result of accident, misuse, improper installation, abuse, tort including negligence or other external causes, including but not limited to force majeure; (b) by operation outside the recommended usage parameters including, but not limited to, temperature maximums; (c)by improper site preparation, management or maintenance; (d) by loss or damage in transit; or (e) by modification or service by professionals other than lohasfarms.

As a precaution against alteration or loss of data, periodically back up the data stored on hard drives or other storage devices. Before returning any unite for service, back up data and remove confidential, proprietary, or personal data. lohasfarms is not responsible for damage to or loss of programs or data or for the restoration or reinstalling of any programs or data.

Limitations

The remedies provided in this statement are your sole and exclusive remedies. These terms and conditions supersede any prior agreements or representations, including representation made in lohasfarms sales literature or advice given to you by or on behalf of lohasfarms in connection with your purchase of the product. No changes to the conditions of this Limited Warranty are valid unless it is made in writing and signed by an authorized representative of the company.

To the extent allowed by local law, except as expressly set forth in this limited warranty, lohasfarms makes no other warranties, guarantees, or conditions, expressed or implied, including any implied warranties, and conditions of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and implied guarantees of acceptable quality, to the extent permitted by law, lohasfarms expressly disclaims all warranties, guarantees and conditions not stated in this limited warranty and any implied warranties, guarantees and conditions that may be imposed by law are limited in duration to the applicable warranty period.

Note: If you return a non lohasfarms battery or charger, your exchange or refund will not be processed until the correct battery has been returned to our RMA department. We will contact you via email or phone if we have received a non lohasfarms item. You will have 10 business days to respond and ship the correct item back to our RMA department. A $5 shipping fee will be charged to have the incorrect item returned to you. After the 10 business days, we will not be held liable for returning your battery or charger, and a new RMA number will need to be requested. We will not accept any pre-paid envelopes or stamps for returns. We cannot be held responsible for lost or misplaced labels or stamps.

Our $100,000 Equipment Protection Plan automatically covers you up to $100,000 from any damage to your device on batteries and/or chargers purchased from lohasfarms.com. This Equipment Protection Plan is free and is valid for the duration of your lohasfarms.com warranty period.

This Equipment Protection Plan only covers your device and the related battery and/or charger purchased from lohasfarms.com only. This policy is not transferable. No other devices, persons, or property outside of the affected device and battery and/or charger is covered by this policy. This policy does not cover damages caused by abuse, misuse, negligence, improper installation, unauthorized modification or repair, weather, or any other causes beyond the normal operating range of the device and battery and/or charger.

lohasfarms reserves the sole right to determine if your device was damaged by our battery and/or charger and will require the customer to submit to us the affected device and battery and/or charger for inspection and testing.lohasfarms will then determine if your device was in fact damaged by our product and will take the following corrective measures: (A) lohasfarms will pay for repairs to your device and our battery and/or charger. If repair is not a feasible option, lohasfarms will (B) reimburse you for the fair market value of your device in an amount not exceeding $100,000 and refund you the purchase price of the battery and/or charger.

Our $100,000 Equipment Protection Plan is an added warranty from lohasfarms.com and our policy does not limit, void, or otherwise infringe on any manufacturer or extended warranty of the device.

Return Policy For Accessories

If you are not satisfied with your accessory purchase, your item may be returned within 30 days from the shipping date. All accessory returns must include:

  • All original boxes and packing materials provided by manufacturer
  • Contain the original UPC codes if available
  • All manuals
  • All cords and accessories
  • All manufacturer documentation

If any return shipment does not contain all of these items or if the item is damaged, your exchange or return request may be denied, or the customer will be subject to a repackaging fee up to the value of the item, and to be determined on a case by case basis.

Brand New/Unopened Accessory

All unopened accessories can be returned within 30 days of ship date for a full refund of the purchase price. Original shipping charges will not be refunded. For orders that came with free shipping, a $6.95 shipping fee will be deducted from your total credit. Return shipping costs will be paid for by the customer.

Used/Opened Accessory

All opened accessories can be returned within 30 days of ship date for a refund or exchange. For refunds, opened accessories are subject to a 15% processing fee. This amount will be deducted from your credit. Original shipping charges will not be refunded. Return shipping costs will be paid for by the customer.

Damaged Accessory

If your product arrives damaged, save everything that arrived and contact lohasfarms customer service department immediately to begin the process of an exchange.

Defective Accessory Outside of 30-Day Return Policy – All accessories that become defective after the 30-day return policy will need to be returned directly to the product manufacturer. Warranty periods will vary depending on the product manufacturer. If you require additional information on a warranty period for your product, please call our Customer Service line.

Return Shipping

The customer is responsible for shipping costs for returns to lohasfarms. No C.O.D. shipments from customers will be accepted. lohasfarms will also not incur the cost of any express shipping. We encourage all of our customers to insure their return package in the case that it is lost or damaged. Return shipping charges will not be refunded under any circumstance.

Return/Exchange Process

The team at lohasfarms has also put together a process for LohasFarms Product returns and exchanges that should be quite simple and easy for anyone to execute. All you need to do is request for a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and following the steps below:

    1. Submit for an RMA number. Please be sure to include the following information in your RMA request:
        • Order Number
        • Full Name
        • Email Address
        • Your request for Refund or Exchange and the reason
    2. Our RMA department will email you within 24 business hours of your request, asking a few specific questions regarding the reason for your return.
    3. Respond to the email from RMA department with all answers completed.
    4. Once all answers are received, an RMA number will be emailed to you, along with instructions on how to return your product.
    5. Return product within 10 days of receiving the RMA number
    6. Once your package is received back in our warehouse, the item will be tested and we will process your refund/exchange within 5-10 business days.

 

Once an RMA number has been assigned, the return product must be shipped within 10 days. If it is not shipped within 10 days, a new RMA number will need to be requested. No returns without an RMA will be accepted and all items shipped for a return or exchange without an RMA will be returned to the customer at our leisure. We cannot process any returns and are not responsible for any items shipped without an RMA number. The customer is responsible for shipping the item back with a tracking number. We are not responsible for any missing or lost items.
